I’m on Tumblr before work!

I woke up (on my own) before my alarm this morning and decided that I needed to write. All I really did was edit, but I did something before work!

Huge accomplishment guys, hoping to start working out in the mornings by next week.

False hope

HAPPY THURSDAY!

Went to Venice on Saturday

It really is beautiful! Not that I thought it wouldn’t be. It feels so strange to get the chance to come here while I’m still so young. It’s truly a blessing being in a place that some people dream of their entire life. I think it’s taking some time for me to really realize that I’m here…in Italy.

A short list of things to do when I get home

  • Smoke less, run more (I’ve picked up a bad habit and slacked on a good one)
  • Cook everyday (you don’t know home much I’ve missed a kitchen!)
  • Keep saving (I have a fantastic trip in a few months)
  • Don’t get comfortable and don’t feel too safe (being back home makes everything easy and I get lazy, we can’t have that anymore)
  • Don’t go backwards (I got dropkicked in the heart a few months ago and I can’t give this guy anymore chances)
  • CONCERTS! (live music gives me life!)
  • Keep training (just because school is over doesn’t mean that training is over…lots to go)
  • Buy new tires (I need new tires…)

Got my new Mac

And I’ve been up since 5am transcribing stuff from my notebook to my laptop.

I can’t read some of my crappy handwriting, so a lot of rewriting will be happening.

Standby =D

#Fact If you hang around any place long enough or frequently enough you will get free stuff. (Please read that again in Dwight Schrute’s voice)

I had a week break in my school so I’ve been living at the Starbucks on base.
I sit in my little corner write, read and laugh to myself at funny Internet videos. Yes, I am one of those people.

It’s honestly been therapeutic! Since I’ve been in Mississippi I’ve been getting, day after day, increasingly bad news. My resilience has been tested, and I have learned that I am stronger than I thought. With that said, I am not as strong as I’d like to be.

Physical work outs are cake compared to the mental one I’m doing right now. Geez

I like my coffee black and my bagels multigrain. Being here makes me feel like I’m back home.

Gone for 2 weeks now!

So I’m in Mississippi now

2 day trip and I finally arrive at the base. When I drove up to the gate, I nearly cried.

This was the first base I was sent to after basic training. I have soooo many memories of this place that it just kind of overwhelmed me. I can’t believe its been 3 years already!

I’m happy to be back and experience this place as a prior service member (and of legal drinking age). My summer is going to be interesting.
